Philippines Rank 4th in SEA for Most Security Threats!

this isn’t good news for IT PINOYs as the Philippines is said to rank fourth in southeast asia (SEA) as source of web security threats!
Symantec released a list of SEA countries where security threats like malicious codes, spam zombies, phishing hosts, and bots originated. Philippines ranked 4th in SEA behind Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia. China and India topped the overall list and Philippines ranked 10th (globally we ranked 41st)
definitely not good news, we all need to address!

Symantec Lists Dirtiest Websites of the Summer 2009

Symantec just listed 100 websites we badly need to avoid!

based on the number of threats detected by Norton Safe Web, the list hopes to identify which sites are safe (unsafe) so that visitors wouldn’t be deceived by stealing their personal infos, or worst comes to worst – crash their computers.
